Abstract

Advances in information technology require human resources to possess adequate digital competencies to adapt to changes in the work environment. This community service activity aimed to enhance the digital competencies of human resources through training on the use of information technology to support work productivity. The implementation methods included identifying participants’ needs, delivering training materials, demonstrating technology use, conducting hands-on practice, providing mentoring, and evaluating outcomes through pre-tests and post-tests. The training materials covered the understanding of information technology, the use of productivity applications, digital document management, online communication and collaboration, and the application of technology in completing work tasks. The evaluation results showed an increase in the participants’ average competency score from 60.20% in the pre-test to 86.00% in the post-test, representing an improvement of 25.80 percentage points. Participants’ responses also indicated a positive assessment of the training implementation. Therefore, practice-based training and mentoring can help participants understand and apply information technology more effectively, systematically, and adaptively to support work productivity.
