Focus and Scope
AJAD: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat welcomes academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish innovative and impactful results of community service activities. This journal accepts articles covering the following themes:
- Technology for Community Development: Application of appropriate technology, digitalization, and technological innovation for community empowerment.
- Economic Empowerment and Community Development: Economic empowerment, SME development, social entrepreneurship, and enhancement of local economic capacity.
- Health and Community Welfare: Community health programs, health and nutrition education, and improvement of social welfare.

The Aims and Scope of the journal will be periodically reviewed and adjusted based on input and decisions from the Editorial Board, Reviewers, and Associate Editors to ensure the quality and relevance of publications.

This journal has an archiving agreement with Portico for long-term preservation of its content.
Screening for Plagiarism
All submissions are checked for plagiarism using iThenticate before undergoing the peer-review process. Additionally, all manuscripts are screened using AI detection tools to ensure the originality and authenticity of the content.
Journal History
AJAD was published for the first time in early 2021. Since its inception, the journal has been committed to publishing high-quality research on community engagement and service.
- 2021: First issue published.
- 2022: AJAD has been accredited with SINTA 5 in accordance with the Circular, applicable from Volume 1 Number 1 of 2021 to Volume 5 Number 2 of 2025. Announcement: https://arjuna.kemdikbud.go.id/article/482.
- 2023: Implemented enhanced peer review process.
- 2024: Established archiving agreement with Portico.
- 2026: AJAD was officially upgraded from SINTA 5 to SINTA 4, based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development No. 295/C/C3/KPT/2026 dated January 2, 2026, concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period 2 of 2025.
