Gampong Lhok Sandeng, Pidie Jaya Regency was severely affected by flash floods in late 2025, causing infrastructure damage and economic disruption. The Student Impact Program of STMIK Indonesia Banda Aceh responded through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, mobilizing 58 students from three study programs over 65 days. The initiative integrated Internet of Things (IoT) technology and renewable energy through the installation of an IoT-based Early Warning System (EWS), solar-powered street lighting, portable emergency lights, and an agricultural water pump. Results were disseminated via social media, national press, and video documentation. Long-term sustainability is anchored in a formally legalized Village Disaster Response Team and Maintenance Team, demonstrating that participatory appropriate technology effectively fosters sustainable post-disaster rural resilience.
