Published in September 2026, Volume 4 Issue 2 of the Journal Mobile Technologies (JMS) features five research articles on user-centered design, machine learning, user behavior, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications in modern digital systems. The edition begins with a study on a design thinking-based UI/UX prototype for a hospital patient registration information system. It shows how a human-centered approach can streamline administrative workflows and improve the healthcare service experience. The journal continues with a machine learning study that classifies sentiment in reviews of Indonesian mobile applications using TF-IDF. It offers a practical method for extracting insights from large volumes of user feedback. Moving to user behavior, researchers examine push notification fatigue, focusing on user tolerance levels and the strategies people use to manage notifications. This gives developers evidence for designing engagement features that do not overwhelm users. The volume also presents the design and usability evaluation of SIPDES, a citizen-centered web platform for integrated village complaint and information services. The study highlights the role of digital technology in improving public service accessibility and transparency at the village level. The issue concludes with a mobile-based IoT system for real-time soil monitoring and machine learning-based predictive irrigation in smart agriculture, showing how mobile technology, sensor networks, and predictive analytics can support more efficient and data-driven farming. Together, these articles span usability engineering, intelligent data analysis, user experience, and IoT-enabled solutions, reflecting the growing role of mobile and web technologies in healthcare, public services, and agriculture
