Completion of OJS Upgrade and Portal Redesign Across L-MSTI Journals
Dear Editors, Journal Managers, Reviewers, Authors, and Researchers,
We are pleased to announce that the OJS upgrade to version 3.4.0-11, plugin configuration, and portal redesign across all journals managed by L-MSTI have been completed, ahead of the previously estimated schedule. The portals are now available for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial processing, and access to published articles.
The updates include ROR integration to support standardized institutional affiliations, optimization of metadata and email notification plugins, and a cleaner, responsive interface with improved navigation. Journal information, submission guidance, ethical policies, and the shared multi-journal FAQ have also been updated. Please read the relevant journal’s About the Journal, Author Guidelines, Ethical Guidelines, and Publication Fees pages for specific requirements.
All journals share common standards for editable Word submissions, double-blind peer review, and four mandatory declarations covering AI usage, author contributions (CRediT), funding, and conflicts of interest. Published articles receive Crossref DOIs and use the CC BY 4.0 license. Submission and peer review remain free, with applicable APCs payable only after formal acceptance.
New official manuscript templates are scheduled for release in late December 2026 for the 2027 publication cycle, replacing the previously announced template release schedule. The effective date and transition instructions for new submissions and manuscripts already under review will be provided in a separate announcement. Until then, please continue using the current official template and follow the selected journal’s Author Guidelines.
Please verify your OJS profile and author metadata, check editorial notifications regularly, and retain copies of your submission files. If you encounter access, upload, display, or notification issues, use the relevant journal’s Contact page and include your submission ID, where applicable, and a brief description of the problem.
