Vol. 5 No. 1 (2025): April

Indonesian Journal of Economic Review (IJER) Volume 5 Number 1, April 2025, presents a collection of research articles exploring diverse aspects of business, economics, and organizational behavior, with a notable focus on Indonesia and the Aceh region. This issue commences with an examination of the determinants of business performance in micro and small enterprises among Muslim entrepreneurs in Aceh Province, offering insights into the specific challenges and opportunities faced by this vital sector. Shifting to the digital realm, the journal features research on the influence of e-commerce trust, site loyalty, and satisfaction on digital consumer purchase behavior, exploring key factors driving online consumer choices. In the area of human resource management, this issue includes a study on the impact of job promotion and organizational conflict on employee work motivation at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Banda Aceh Branch. Broadening the scope to small and medium-sized enterprises, the journal presents research on the impact of accessibility and creativity on the financial performance of SMEs. Further exploring factors influencing employee performance, this issue includes two articles: one examining the influence of discipline, motivation, local wisdom, and work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, and another investigating the influence of workload and motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction. Collectively, the articles in this issue provide a rich and varied perspective on contemporary business and economic issues, offering valuable insights for academics, practitioners, and policymakers interested in understanding business dynamics, organizational behavior, and consumer trends in Indonesia and beyond.
